Project details

Located in Cadaqués, the family restaurant RE-MEI, led by chef and owner Mei Llorens, focuses on traditional, locally sourced cuisine in a space full of character. The project started from a clear challenge: adapting a professional kitchen to a small and complex space. The solution was a 100% custom-made proposal, designed to optimise every corner without compromising functionality or aesthetics. The central feature is a wall-mounted monobloc cooking suite over 4 metres long, equipped with gas burners, griddle and sink, with classic-style controls in harmony with the venue, positioned facing the guests through a wooden counter with suspended shelving. The installation is completed with an optimised work area including refrigerated units with remote motor located outside, reducing noise and heat and improving comfort in the dining space, as well as an integrated wine display that enhances the overall customer experience.
